Atlantic Bridge & Engineering was founded as a small union steel erector by Victoria Kolenda in 1996. Victoria’s goal was to address the growing need for building and bridge steel contractors in New England. The company's first jobs were rebar projects but Atlantic soon transitioned into the high-value installation of complex structural steel and precast structures. Not long after the company’s founding, Atlantic was awarded several contracts on the Central Artery Project in Boston, MA. The company continued to expand its offerings and began steel fabrication in 2006. Atlantic is now proud to operate two AISC certified fabrication facilities in Candia, NH and Rochester, NH.
