Atlantic Bridge & Engineering, Inc. (ABE) is a steel fabricator & union erector based in Hampton, NH. ABE works with general contractors throughout New England & New York on projects ranging from $500,000 to $15,000,000. ABE is seeking a motivated, organized, and enthusiastic self-starter to join the estimating team. This individual must have a high attention to detail and be able to handle a high volume of work.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of steel fabrication and steel erection projects that ABE decides to bid. The candidate will be familiar with the steel fabrication and erection processes and understand our competitive advantages as an organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process

• Resolve cost/production discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information

• Estimating the cost of steel projects from start to finish

• Preparing bid proposals

The role will vary based on experience. Open positions include: Assistant Estimator, Junior Estimator, Estimator, Lead Estimator, and Senior Estimator.
